Call for nominations of experts and fellows to participate in the business and biodiversity assessment

IPBES is calling for nominations of experts and fellows to participate in the new methodological report on the topic of "Business & Biodiversity". The aim is to show the impact of business on biodiversity and to assess the dependence of business on biodiversity and nature's contributions to people. Nomination as an expert is possible until November 1. Early career scientists can also apply via the Fellowship Program.

Experts are sought from a variety of fields including academia, business and industry, government and civil society, and from a variety of disciplines including accounting, climatology, ecology, economics, finance, gender studies, hydrology, law, materials design and engineering, public health, risk assessment and trade. Information on the report, which was approved by resolution "IPBES 9/1," can be found here.

Early career scientists can apply to participate through the Fellowship Program. Information on the Fellowship Program can be found here. Please contact us if you are interested in being nominated through Switzerland.
